Halesford Kids
In the Children's Ministry, our mission is to help kids find their way to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and hand's on activities.
Every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Children's Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.
Awana Club
Our Awana club is on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:00pm is for 2 year olds through 5th graders. Our goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him. The Awana program helps children to hide God's Word in their hearts through scripture memorization, bible study, and interactive games
Kids Church
Kid's Church at 11:00 is full of modern praise music, age-appropriate lessons and fun games for our Kindergarten through 6th graders. Our interactive lessons bring God's truths to life.
Join us for Sunday small groups for all ages at 10:00.
Summer Kids' Camp
Halesford Kids love to go to summer camp together! Each year, kids ages 8 through rising 7th graders set off for a week of fun and adventure in the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains. The group is accompanied by adult and teen chaperones from Halesford, who look forward to the opportunity to build strong relationships with each other, make fun memories and see kids grow in their faith. Campers will participate in Bible study, worship, and missions exchange.
